The current owner of  Susquehanna Glass Company, Walter R. Rowen, will tell us about his Company and its history. Susquehanna Glass was founded in 1910, in Columbia, PA, by two partners, Rowen's grandfather, Walter, and his granduncle, Albert. The business has flourished these many years in a historic building on a back-alley in Columbia (The retail outlet is located elsewhere.) Rowen will answer your questions about this well-known company. Note: We invite others in the greater Wayside community, even if you are not "senior," to attend this very interesting presentation.

Our Senior group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 12 noon over a brown bag lunch in Wayside's church Atrium to hear invited speakers on various topics. We will provide the beverages. While we focus on the interest of senior adults, we have no age limit and persons of all ages are welcome at these meetings!
