All 860 of our students benefit from the Stallion Challenge. It supports faith initiatives, technology, scholarships, facility updates, and enhancements in student programming. Not only does this drive help keep us sustainable, it keeps us thriving.  
Stallions in the Spotlight
Junior Gabbi Gualtieri was awarded a full scholarship to Carnegie Mellon's six week summer design program!
Members of the SFD Girls Volleyball program volunteered at the Westerville Area Resource Ministry and packed-up nearly 500 bags of food which was delivered to those in need.
At Grandparents Day last Friday we recognized Tom and Mary Kay Mulligan, who participated in their 23rd straight Grandparents Day at SFD, and their last, with granddaughter Deanna set to graduate in June. It is also their 46th year being in our community as a parent or a grandparent.
Students from the Run the Race Club participated in their annual home makeover this past Sunday. Thank you for sharing your time and talents!
Congratulations to seniors Domenica Cua, Hannah Magold, Mary Sabatino and Vince Thompson for winning a Father Castro Marrapese Scholarship. They will each receive $2,000 to be used toward college in the fall.
Seniors Monica Alba and Evelyn Mendez participated in the Clinton Township Litter Sweep on Saturday along with firefighters and trustee Jane Cera.
A special thank you to those that joined us last Thursday for the Spring Professions Night, highlighting careers in the Creative and Performing Arts along with Media and Communications. We were blessed to hear from alumnus Paul Franchak (Actor, BMTA Talent Agency), alumnus and SFD parent Mark Mnich (Director of Business Development/Sr. Designer, Priority Designs), alumna Megan Polk (Social Media and Marketing Manager, New Albany Country Club), and SFD parent Mitzi D’Amico (Principal, NBBJ), as well as two representatives from the Columbus College of Art & Design.
Congratulations to seniors Ryan Secrest and Leah Richards for both receiving a Beechcroft Lyons Club scholarship.
The SFD Choir shared their beautiful voices with audience members last night at their annual Spring Choir Concert. 
Mrs. Cheryl Sands, a past SFD parent and our volunteer nurse, traveled to Washington, D.C. on Saturday as part of the Honor Flight organization due to her service in Vietnam. Thank you for your service!

Crohn's and Colitis Foundation Fundraiser Dress Down Day

Students must wear the wristband they purchased this week. Wristbands will also be sold before school in the lobby Wednesday morning.

Mothers Club Bake Sale
When: May 1 during all lunch periods.  
Be sure to bring some extra change and stop by the tables outside the cafeteria to purchase delicious brownies, cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, pretzels, etc! Thanks again for your support of the Mothers Club!

SFD Girls Golf Meeting
When: May 1 at 7pm
Where: Northstar Golf Club in Sunbury
All new and returning players and their parents are asked to attend this informational meeting.

American Government CAP Fair

College T-Shirt Day for the Class of 2019

Seniors are welcome to participate in College (or Military) T-shirt Dress Down Day to show off where they will be heading next fall.

Eucharistic Adoration

American Red Cross Blood Drive in Memory of Danny Arnold

Please help us continue Danny’s legacy of giving and serving by scheduling an appointment today online or by calling Teresa at 614-404-3130. The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds. Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program.

Face Forward Scholarship
The Office of Vocations and Face Forward will be sponsoring the 7th Annual Service Awards. The Service Awards offers two $500 scholarships to students in grades 8-12 in the Columbus Diocese who demonstrate outstanding service activities within their community and parish. 

Submit by May 17, 2019.
Spiritual Reflection
Lord, your Son, Jesus, mounted the wood of the cross to bring spiritual healing and new life to those suffering from sin and death. Help us, Jesus, to always be mindful of those who suffer physically and spiritually. Amen.
