What do Summer Blasts, Canaries Baseball, Meals on Wheels, Fire Pit Nights, Compass Points Adventure Camp, Wild Water West, and VBS Leadership all have in common?  They are all a part of a fantastic summer of High School Youth Ministry at Our Savior’s. Check out below for all the details and to sign up.
Summer Blast Wednesdays at OSL
OSL will once again be hosting Summer Blasts. This year's schedule and themes:
  • June 12 at 5 PM: Car Show
  • July 10 at 5 PM: Water
  • Aug 7 at 5 PM: Tailgating
The whole family is invited to join us for Summer Blast—an evening of food, fun and games, and outdoor worship. See the bulletin, church newsletter, or Facebook for more information.
High School Fire Pit
Following every Summer Blast at 7 PM
High School students are invited to join us after the Summer Blast, at 7 PM, for a time of conversation, relaxation, and some delicious s'mores. Bring a chair and enjoy the cool night air with John, Mollie, Sami, and your friends as we catch up on life and have some fun.
The fire pit area is located on the west side of the parking lot behind a fence. Look for smoke and voices and you are sure to find us :)
VBS Leadership Positions Avalible
We want you to be part of Vacation Bible School leadership June 10-13 from 9am to noon! VBS requires much volunteer help to create a safe and successful week for all the students attending. You’ll get to build relationships & get in on the fun, energizing experience with no outside preparation. Students who have completed sixth grade through adults should contact Melissa Nesdahl at mnesdahl@oslchurch.com with interest.
Volunteer for Meals on Wheels
Dear parents and youth, please consider volunteering for the Meals on Program. The OSL youth have assisted with this worthwhile service for several years. The dinners are picked up at Hope Lutheran (Cliff & 26th) at 10:40 and delivery takes about 90 minutes. A binder with map & directions are included and very clear. The empty totes are returned to Hope when you are done. The food and friendship that you are providing to the clients fills a need to body & soul. Thank you for considering this important job. If you have any questions, call Sandy Garnas, 605-338-5440.
Our OSL Youth Ministry is signed up to help the w eek of July 22-26
