"You are the sky. Everything else is just the weather."

-Pema Chödrön

The Stram Center Welcomes Lisa Field, L.M.T.

There is an inner source of healing that exists within each of us.

It is innate, imprinted on our cells and a part of our life force. As a massage therapist, my goal is to help you connect with this inner source and gently stimulate it to maximize its healing effect.

Each person has different needs and responds best to different techniques. My approach is to listen to each person carefully, make an individual assessment and tailor the massage for your specific needs.
Gut Instincts
There is an epidemic of digestive imbalances that I see in my practice ranging from GERD, bloating and the larger category of IBS. IBS or irritable bowel syndrome diagnosis is like a big bucket that that holds many digestive imbalances that are not easily explained or improved.
Traditional Chinese Medicine & IBS
Evidence-based medicine has demonstrated that irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can benefit from multiple treatment options to address this often complex disorder. One of these options is Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including acupuncture, herbal formulas and dietary therapy.
Curious About Cupping?

Cupping is one of the modalities that acupuncturists use to improve health. Although it does date back thousands of years within the practice of Chinese Medicine, its use has also been documented in ancient Egypt, Greece, other European and Asian countries and by Native Americans.
Free Guided Meditation
Wednesdays (Returning April 25th): 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

The free meditation sessions are available at The Center to practice and experience the deep state of meditation. These sessions serve as an introduction for beginners as well as a practice for experienced individuals in the cultivation of clarity and mindfulness.
