Hot Breakfast
There will be no breakfast this Sunday due to Memorial Day weekend.  The next breakfast will be Sunday, June 10, which be provided by guest chefs, Rip & Ann Phillips.

Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.

Bishop's Visit!
Bishop White will be making his annual visitation on Sunday, June 3rd.

To honor his presence, and those who receive confirmation and publicly reaffirm their faith, we will have a reception in Board Hall after the 10:00 Eucharist.

As in the past, when we pitch in together, each helping out one way or another, we wind up having quite a party.

If you haven't done so already, please respond to the parish email that has gone out to sign up to bring certain dishes or to help out in another capacity.

Thank you!

Spring Foyer Groups Sign Up
Foyer Groups are groups of 6-8 (could be more) people that meet for a meal (at someone's home or at a restaurant). Every person (or couple) takes a turn arranging a meeting.  After the Spring meetings, new groups will begin in the Winter.

Besides having fun and getting to know each other, Foyer Groups offer an excellent opportunity to discuss where our church is now, where it is going and how we feel.   Of course, the groups have no assigned topics and people may just want to let the conversations ramble and flow, laugh and have a good time.

THIS IS THE LAST WEEKEND TO SIGN UP, with sign up sheets at both narthex entrances.

Call Calvin Riley Pinney: 245 1623 or Caroline Eddleman: 253-0135 for information or questions.

Memorial Day Flags
In keeping with what has become a St. Luke's tradition, the Brotherhood of St. Andrew (BOSA) will once again be giving American flags to those attending services on Memorial Day weekend (May 26th and 27th).

These 8" x 12" flags on a 24" staff are perfectly sized to be placed at a memorial, or by the gravesite of someone who sacrificed their life for our country, or gave years of their life in service to our country. These flags can also simply be placed near your home as a symbol of your gratitude for the many freedoms we enjoy.

The flags will be given to you as you leave St. Luke's on the 26th or 27th.

St. Luke's Book Club for June
* NOTE CHANGE TO THE MEETING DATE & TIME*

We are changing from the Second Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm to the FOURTH TUESDAY of each month at 6pm, so this coming meeting will be on June 26 at 6:00.

Our book selection for June is The Hellfire Club written by Jake Tapper, CNN chief Washington correspondent and New York Times bestselling author of, The Outpost-- the heartbreaking but inspiring saga of one of the most deadly battles of the Afghanistan war.

Please plan to join us on our new date and time. We meet in the Lyman House.

Vacation Bible School
Bibletimes Marketplace is long-standing tradition in the Anchorage area. St. Luke's along with Anchorage Presbyterian and Epiphany Roman Catholic Church come together to host Vacation Bible School each summer.

This summer Bibletimes Marketplace will be held at Epiphany during the week of July 9th - 13th from 9:00 am - 12 noon. There will be fliers available in the narthex. We encourage all children to attend this wonderful adventure.

We also need youth (7 th grade and up) to volunteer!

Please contact Rev. Shelley with any questions.
