Holocaust Memorial Field of Flags
The Annual Field of Flags commemorating the victims of the Holocaust, will be planted on the Hammerschlag Mall (between the Multicultural Student Services Center and the Library) on Monday, April 9 at 3:30 pm and remain on display until April 18. The Holocaust Memorial Vigil will take place on Tuesday, April 17 at 12:15 pm in from of the Multicultural Student Services Center.
Sabra in the Kitchen: Mimouna
Monday April  9 6:30pm
Mimouna is a North African Jewish celebration held the day after Passover. Come make mofletta, a traditional pancake and enjoy crafts and music. RSVP here
Rescued Treasure: The SEMER Project
Thursday April  12 7pm at Hillel
Berlin-based jazz trumpeter, installation artist, and composer, Paul Brody will present on his work with The Semer Ensemble and the project to discover, restore and perform Jewish music from 1930s Germany. With pre-recorded musical illustrations, as well as a live performance with Christina Crowder on accordion. Read more here about Paul Brody!
Good Deeds Day Brunch
Sunday April  15 Noon at Hillel
Good Deeds Day will be celebrated this year by Jewish communities all over the world on April 15. Enjoy a free brunch at Hillel and stay to make sandwiches that will be donated to an area shelter. RSVP on Facebook.
Film: The Last Palmachnik
Monday April  16 6:30pm 
In honor of Yom HaZikaron, Israel Memorial Day, Israeli Emissary, Tslil Reichman will lead a discussion following the screening of this film which tells the story of her friend, Omri Tal, a fallen Israeli soldier.
