Segah
Yildirim graduated from the University of Florida in December of 2015. It was during his senior year that he learned about the NABOB Media Sales Institute (MSI) at the Atlanta University Center (AUC); he did his research, applied and was accepted. After graduating from the MSI the summer of 2016, Segah believes the MSI "blessed" him with numerous career opportunities from top tier companies in the media industry.
After a rigorous month of interviews he decided to accept an Associate Account Executive (AAE) position with Comcast Spotlight in Atlanta.
Segah
graduated from Comcast's 12-month sales training program in 8 months; and was promoted to a "full" Account Executive at Comcast Spotlight, in less than one year. In his new position, he continued to build connections and a steady book of business continually surpassing his sales quotas.
After completing his first year in media sales,
Segah
realized... "to be successful in local sales, one must be able to develop (and nurture) relationships, create a sense of permanence and become a part of the community". While having this epiphany, he noticed the company was opening a new location in his hometown of Miami Beach and quickly seized the opportunity to apply. To no surprise,
Segah
was offered the opportunity to join the Miami sales team (which he accepted) and is excited to begin building new relationships, in his second year in media sales.
Segah
said, "Although it was a bittersweet goodbye to my friends and business partners in Atlanta, I am now thrilled to call Miami Beach my home, workplace, and community for a long time to come." Keep an eye on
Segah
...he is an MSI "Rising Star".
