HB 150 Installment and Small Loan Changes- has made it to the Senate Floor! We got a 6-0 Due Pass in the Senate Corporations and Transportation Committee. That means we got a bipartisan vote in favor of HB 150. We're biting our nails in hope that time will not run out on our efforts. If you have a favorite Senator, please consider giving them a call to support HB150. This bill has a high potential to be heard tonight... The Senate will reconvene at 7:30 pm tonight March 14.
More Good News!
HB 100 Replace Columbus Day as Indigenous Peoples' Day has also made it to Senate Floor! It is likely to be heard tomorrow evening though we're not sure of the exact time. We need you to call Senators to ask them to vote in favor of HB 100. Here's a list of Senators that would benefit from knowing your interest in passing this bill.
