Sheriff’s Office Supports Youth Services
The Foundation would like to thank the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office for their contributions to two Foundation supported programs. With a major focus on prevention and youth services, the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office donated $35,000 to the Midway Safe Harbor Community Center and Take Stock in Children – Seminole. Their donation will help both programs prepare at-risk students for a successful future.

Thank you to Sheriff Lemma and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office for supporting the students of Seminole County Public Schools!

Mentor a Deserving Student
Take Stock in Children is rewriting the story of deserving low-income students with scholarships, mentors & hope. Take Stock pairs at-risk students who have the odds stacked against them with mentors, who provide the support, encouragement and guidance they need to succeed in high school. Just 30 minutes a week provides our hard-working students with the tools to thrive throughout high school, into college and and in their future communities.

We have 25 new students joining our Take Stock program. Would you like to mentor one of these deserving scholars?  Not only is mentoring a rewarding experience but you also help a student earn a Florida Prepaid 2-year scholarship!

Tools 4 Seminole Schools Kick Off
Tools for Seminole Schools, our free teacher store, is kicking off our annual summer school supply drive on May 21st! You'll have a chance to tour the store, meet staff and volunteers, and go behind the scenes to see how your donations create better opportunities for SCPS students.

The store provides teachers and administrators with access to free school supplies, backpacks and more for students most in need.
