Our Mission
To End Veteran Homelessness in Minnesota
Our Vision
To provide assistance throughout Minnesota to Veterans and their families who are homeless or experiencing other life crises leading to homelessness
Message from Brian Peterson-Chief Financial Officer

MACV is working hard towards our mission to End Veteran Homelessness in Minnesota – this can only be achieved together with our partners and supporters across the state. MACV’s programming is structured to complement – and never duplicate – existing services to Veterans. In addition to our direct efforts in areas of housing, employment, and legal services, we are committed every day and with every individual’s story to also helping Veterans navigate and access the various other resources available through our partners across our state.

MACV’s efforts are in creating systemic solutions to ending Veteran homelessness in Minnesota. This work requires learning from others experience, forging new relationships, and strengthening existing partnerships. We invite you to join our mission by donating directly via the links below, or reaching out to find out how you can help in ways that work best for you. We always welcome a conversation.

Thank you for being part of a community committed to creating a future in which every Veteran in Minnesota has access to support for their needs and a place to call home.

March 2018 Highlights
Homeless Day on the Hill 2018
Our team at MACV joined our partners St. Stephens Human Services and hundreds of other advocates for the 2018 Homeless Day on the Hill on March 6th. Our purpose was to let our legislators know we support actions that increase access to affordable housing, and ending homelessness.
Veterans Day on the Hill 2018
MACV joined hundreds of other Veterans and community partners at the Capitol for Veterans Day on the Hill on March 12th. It was great to hear from the many community leaders and have the opportunity to share our experienced insight on housing.
North Region
On Tuesday March 13th our MACV North team was invited to attend the Styx/ REO Speedwagon/ Don Felder concert at the Amsoil Arena. Our organization was selected by the groups nonprofit Rock to the Rescue to receive proceeds from cd sales at the concert. Huge thanks to Kevin Compton and the groups for thinking of our local veterans!

Our partners at Lennar did such an outstanding job through their Helping Our Heroes campaign which raised an entire van load of winter gear for our Veterans. Photographed here are members of their team, our Housing Manager Ed Williams and President & CEO Neal Loidolt.
South Region
A very special thanks to the team members of Hormel, who welcomed MACV to their headquarters in Austin MN. Their amazing team presented MACV with a donation of 300 hygiene bags and more than $700 to support homeless Veterans in Minnesota
COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT
THE MISSION CONTINUES & MACV
On March 24th, The Mission Continues, in partnership with students from St. Thomas and the Target Group, joined MACV to work on one of our transitional homes for Veterans. They did an outstanding job doing demo work in our basement to make room for additional bedrooms for our homeless Veterans. To learn more about how you can help us with service projects to include adopting and sponsoring one of our homes, please email us directly at mac-v@mac-v.org.
