The Henry Morrison Flagler Museum was the setting for a reception marking the end of the Palm Beach Civic Association's 75th year.
The event took place April 15 in the Great Hall, following the close of the association's annual meeting.

Tuesday's Town Council meeting began on a tense note when a Port St. Lucie gun rights activist hit back at town officials who earlier criticized the pro-gun group Florida Carry. "Myself and others educate, not intimidate," Michael Taylor, who is a member of Florida Carry, told Mayor Gail Coniglio, council members and Town Manager Kirk Blouin.

But heads up for drivers: roads are closing in that area started at 9 a.m. on Wednesday in preparation for SunFest. The organizers need several days to be able to set up tents, an arts district, stages and other facilities on the site.
