A Place to Call Home
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these. . .” Matthew 19:14

The children’s home has always been so close to my heart and I love the children so much. It is a blessing to be a mother and a mother to so many. I always knew that my coming to Uganda was to help children, but how much and in what ways I was not sure. The Lord always knew! I give thanks to the honor that God has bestowed upon me by giving me so many children to raise in a home and so many in the sponsorship program, to be able to tell them about their Father in Heaven and His great love for them.

Join Us To Make this Home
For 20 years our children’s home has taken in local children who have been orphaned or have no parents or extended family able to properly care for them. We have many needs as we care for these precious children and make a meaningful difference in their lives. You can partner with us with a one-time or ongoing gift:
·          $ 172 to meet all of the needs at the 4 children’s homes for 1 day.
·          $1,200 for one week
·          $4,800 for one month.
The septic system of the children’s home is requiring some repairs and updating at the cost of $1,500. You can help with a one- time gift toward this need. You can send a check to our Littleton office, give online at
or text HUM to 41444.
Most importantly, please join us in prayer for these children that they may grow to know Jesus in a meaningful way and grow in knowledge and wisdom to become leaders in their community and country. We are proud of those who have already grown up in our homes and are already doing so. Pray for God’s continued work in their lives.
Three years ago I brought a brother and sister into my home, Enoch (5) and Eunice (2½).  Enoch began attending pre-school at our Genesis Nursery/Primary School. Eunice also began when she turned 4.   These precious siblings have been a wonderful addition to our family of children, all joining us from difficult life circumstances. They have been both a joy and a challenge! Also, like many of these children neither one of them had ever seen a toilet nor a shower or running water. They had never sat in a chair or slept in a bed, much less understood the concept of a pillow and bedsheets with a cover! Teaching children how to use a toilet is not easy and it can be costly. Eunice got such a kick out of flushing the toilet and watching the water run down and Enoch thought he should have a small boat to put in there and see what happens! The shower scared Eunice at first and she did not like it. But of course now, she likes it a little too much! It has become a toy!!

Eunice & Enoch
Enoch and Eunice were sponsored as their father had been HIV positive and died. Their mother was very sick as well and left the children with a blind grandfather who could do nothing to care for them. They were becoming very thin and falling behind in their development. When the Grandfather came to us for help we took them in to the children’s home to meet their physical needs as well as offer a stable home environment with love and care.

Eunice and Enoch are bright and very funny. They both love to dance and Eunice loves to sing and be the star in everyone’s eyes. She is very good at stealing your heart, so watch out! Enoch is quiet but surprises us very often when he decides to dance when music is being played and he begins to laugh. He loves transformers and cars that visitors have brought from the States and will also steal your heart!

Thank You

Thanks to all who gave for school uniforms and shoes to help out our non-sponsored community students at Genesis as well as underfunded kids. It’s a very practical way to help so many children and we seek to change their earthly and eternal future.

May God richly bless all of you as you share in this ministry.
