Friday, February 2, 2018 at 7:30 pm,  Jed Moss, an Idaho native and professional pianist, will dazzle the
CSI Auditorium Stage with his collaborative performance with the  Sundance Trio.  Bassonist, Christian Smith and Oboeist Geralyn Giovannetti, faculty colleagues Brigham Young University's School of Music along with Jed, who has performed with musicians from the nation's top orchestras make up the Sundance Trio.

PIANO CELEBRATION CONCERT

Friday, February 2, 2018
7:30 pm
CSI Fine Arts Auditorium

Admission:
General--$10,  Seniors--$8,  Students--$6

Sundance Trio was formed in 2005 to explore and perform trios written for oboe, bassoon and piano. Based in Utah, the trio has performed throughout the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom at colleges, chamber music series and at conferences.

In 2009, the Sundance Trio released their debut CD Recording on the Centaur Records label. A review by the IDRS Journal states, "They are truly a magnificent ensemble. Each artist is a talented and skillful musician, and since they have performed together so often, their ensemble playing is as good as it gets! This is a marvelous CD-full of interesting, new, and mostly uplifting music for an oboe-bassoon-piano ensemble."
The American Record Guide wrote, "Each musician brings understanding of the works and performs with a particular sensitivity suited to the other performers" and the Salt Lake Tribune wrote, "The ensemble play is also fabulous.  It's a remarkable collaborative effort by three like-minded musicians who are equals in musicality and technical astuteness.  This is a very fine album, both in the performances and in its conception."
Please join us for this concert.  General admission--$10, Seniors--$8, Students--$6.
