Celebrating Our Fourth Year!
Each year welcomes new and exciting events, but CMTC especially looks forward to the Boston Marathon every April. After a lengthy 26.2 mile run we could not be happier to help the incredible athletes begin their recovery process through massage!
This year the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) will be paying special tribute to all of the servicemen who have made the marathon possible in the years past. In 1918, World War I was being fought overseas, but even the B.A.A. was feeling it's effects. The people of Boston worried that there would not be enough runners to participate in the marathon that year. So, they turned the race into a military relay, enlisting teams from the Boston Navy Yard, the Springfield Armory, and Camp Devens. 2018 will mark the 100 year anniversary of this memorable run and on April 16th military veterans will be running to honor the men and women from 1918 who helped keep the Boston Marathon alive. CMTC would also like to recognize the servicemen who help keep this uplifting event alive year after year; the volunteers, the military, and all of the first responders.
We are so excited!
Our trained therapists have helped to prepare clients who will participate in the marathon. We work with our clients with the goal of each person reaching their optimal performance. For you, or someone you know, that may mean running a race like the Boston Marathon!
