Thanks to all who gathered last Wednesday to celebrate what God has done and is doing through Carmel!  


Families fellowshipped over supper, heard stories of life transformation and impact, voted on church leadership and budget and were reminded of what God has called us to as a body of Christ called "Carmel."

Wednesday - May 23 
While Midweek has wrapped up for the semester, the following will be happening tonight:
  • Chef Lance is preparing Roast Beef and Chicken Sliders for supper. 
  • Adult Bible Study (wrapping up a study on the Book of Acts). 
  • Parent Camp meeting for all parents of children attending CarmelKidz's Genesis Camp.
Thursday - May 24 
It's not too late to plug into this week's city-wide women's evening worship gathering hosted by Ember at Steele Creek Church! Details and RSVP here. 

Sunday - May 27

Only 8 books remain on our Root 66 journey.  

Pastor Alex will teach from the book of James. 

If you are new to Carmel, have questions about our church or are looking to connect through a Discipleship Community, stop by The Bridge any Sunday at 11:00am to talk with a member of our team. 
Monday - May 28
The Carmel campus will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.  Soak up the day with family and neighbors.

Women: Summer Suppers
Praise for the strong and quick response to Summer Suppers! We're adding more Suppers to ensure all interested women have an opportunity to participate!

Men - Sign Up for ManUp! 
ManUp CLT is Saturday, June 2 - a day of  worship, prayer and teaching for the men of Greater Charlotte. Be encouraged and challenged to lead well whether it's your children, future children, or a child that you influence.

Summer Wednesdays 
Midweek is over, now what? 

From May 30 - July 25 Carmel will offer supper followed by a time of worship, prayer, and study of the book of Ruth for Adults. Details here. 
Men's Items Needed
Throughout May we invite you to drop donations for the men served by Charlotte Rescue Mission's Rebound program - a free Christian residential drug and recovery service for men who would not otherwise be able to afford such services. 

Needed items include: NEW men's gym shorts (sizes L, XL, XXL),  m en's white ankle socks and d isposable razors. Details here.
