Spring is a season of new beginnings!

With support from amazing donors like you, families and individuals experiencing homelessness have a chance at a fresh start and can begin their lives anew. Thank you
for helping to create another season of hope, promise and much potential for our
guests who are recovering from homelessness!
In the News...

Word of Family Promise
is spreading across the country! Craig Melvin from the Today Show spoke about the impact Family Promise is having on the crisis of homelessness and talked with graduates of the shelter program. Check out the segment by clicking on the right!
The Max Challenge!

Members of the fitness center, The Max Challenge , participated in a kickball tournament to raise funds for Family Promise. Willie Stroever and Steve Hammond,
two Family Promise Board Members, joined in the fun and also spoke about Family Promise to the members. It was a great time getting competitive and collaborating
with an awesome group!

Many thanks to The Max Challenge for their generosity and support and to all of the members that came out to kick the ball around to help end the crisis of homelessness
in Morris County!
Providing Easter Joy!

A huge thank you to Crum & Forster Insurance Company for providing so much joy to the children in Family Promise's shelter and community support programs by donating 74 customized Easter baskets. How awesome for the C&F employees to put so much work and effort into helping children feel happy and excited on Easter!
Paying it Forward!

A huge and heartwarming thank you to Family Promise graduates, Lennox and Rachel, for donating gift cards to current Family Promise guests. Lennox chose to donate the gift cards to celebrate his birthday and to pay it forward. With help from the generosity and dedication of our donors, Lennox and Rachel were able to begin their new life of independence in July 2018 and now volunteer and give back to others. What an amazing success story! Congratulations Lennox and Rachel!
Hope One Brings Hope to Montclair

Meet the People of
Morris County
Name:   Suzanne Brady

Role with Family Promise: I would describe my role with FP as more of a personal connection. I was fortunate to meet some amazing people at the FP Annual Dinner a few years back. Since that time I’ve often helped FP coordinators with needed donations.

Home town: Randolph, NJ

How your friends describe you:  caring, giving, dedicated, inspiring, loving

What you like most about helping Family Promise: Hands down what I like most is how rewarding it is to help find items that newly housed families need simply by reaching out to others. I keep a saying on my fridge that reads "no one is useless in this world who lightens the burden of another."

Suzanne is an Administrative Assistant with Greenberg Traurig, LLP, a long-time partner to Family Promise.
Special Donation Requests!

become a staple for most households
and are a huge timesaver. If you would like help by donating this much-needed item, please call 973.998.0820
You can help keep newly housed families cool this summer by donating new
or used (and in working condition) air conditioner units. If you
are able to help with this item, please

Homelessness
Jacob Folger (pictured at right)
formerly homeless

Homelessness to me is loneliness
In its most painful form
Like a cancer, Homelessness
Takes me like a storm

When I lay down to sleep at night
Tears flood my eyes
No one knows I am here
It is me, it is only I

Homelessness to me is loneliness
No touch, no one cares
No hug or warmth awaits me
There are only tears.
