It's PSSA Time
All students in grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 will take the English Language Arts and Mathematics Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) beginning Monday, April 15th, through Friday, May 3rd. Additionally, the PSSA Science assessment will be administered to students in grades 4 and 8 during this same time frame.
During PSSA testing, each school has established its testing window and communicates those dates to students, parents, and guardians through school newsletters, parent letters, and each school's web page.
Just as parents help their child(ren) prepare for every school day, please help your child(ren) prepare for these assessments by encouraging them to get plenty of sleep the night before and providing them with a good breakfast on the mornings of the assessments. Results will be shared with parents when released by the state.
