Summertime Fun
on the Farm
We are so excited to welcome back our lovely guests to the farm as the weather begins to warm up. There are plenty of things to see and do at the farm at this time of year and we can't wait for everyone to be a part of it! Whether it's a newborn animal, a special event or program we hope to see you here this summer.

Making food for our "Animal Sweets & Treats" program this spring
You can expect to see plenty of babies at the farm this summer. Our sheep Nelly delivered her lamb Xander on March 15 this spring. You will most likely catch Xander doting over his mother and frolicking through the fields in the sheep pasture. Our Jersey Cow Peanut is expected to give birth by the end of May, so make sure to stop by this June to meet her! Chick season has started up again, as we begin to receive baby chicks from our lovely teachers of District 303! We have about two dozen chicks cozying up in our chicken coop right now, so drop-in for our Feed the Chickens or Chicken and Egg programs to get a closer look!

Primrose is also hosting several exciting programs this summer for all ages and interests! Join us every Saturday in June for Primrose  Palette as we create beautiful acrylic paintings over a lovely sunset view. If you are more of an animal person, consider signing up for our Adopt-An-Animal program where you will adopt a farm animal of your choice for the summer, and learn to care for them! You may also be interested in gearing up your children for the new school year with our new program StoryBooks Alive! where students will participate in an interactive storybook reading, followed by exciting story themed games and activities.

No matter where your interests may lie, Primrose Farm has a place for you! Thank you so much for your continued support and love. Your generous contributions are what make the farm such a wonderful place to visit. We can't wait to see you this summer!
