Helen Wan is a novelist and lawyer. She is the author of THE PARTNER TRACK (Macmillan), the story of a young Asian-American woman competing for partnership at a powerful, prestigious law firm. Her book became the subject of a Washington Post Magazine cover story and is taught in law schools and universities. She is a frequent speaker on advancing diversity in the legal profession. Prior to this, she practiced media and corporate law at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, the entertainment law firm Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz, P.C., and as Associate General Counsel at the Time Inc. division of Time Warner Inc. A graduate of Amherst College and The University of Virginia School of Law, she serves on the boards of The New York Women's Bar Association Foundation and The Asian American Arts Alliance.  www.helenwan.com
