Darnell Samples is an Account Executive at Comcast Spotlight, Atlanta. He graduated from The College of Coastal Georgia in 2012. In the Summer of 2016 he decided to make a career change and attended the Media Sales Institute (MSI). After graduating from the MSI, Darnell stated that the MSI program started him on a path of continuous growth both professionally and personally.
Since joining Comcast,
Darnell has been a "natural" in media sales. After completing his first year as an Account Executive, he has been in the Top 10% of his district for closing "New Business" with 26 different accounts.
Darnell has been awarded the "Budget Buster" and recognized in the "Comcast Monthly Business Letter" for his hard work; in both March & April of 2018.
Darnell continually strives for success and shows his appreciation to the investment the MSI made in him financially, spiritually, and personally. He credits the institute with helping him better understand the word "TEAM"; for he knows, his future success depends on it!!!

The
NABOB Media Sales Institute (MSI) at the Atlanta University Center (AUC)
partners with: Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College and Spelman College.
In 2016, The
NABOB
Telecommunications Education and Management Foundation partnered with PSP to launch the first MSI open to
Military Personnel (Post 9/11), Career Changers and Recent College Graduates.
The Media Sales Institute (MSI) program was developed in 1999 by Personal Selling Principles, LLC (PSP) in Beltsville, MD and launched at Howard University, Washington, DC in 2000. The curriculum was designed for recent college graduates interested in pursuing a career in media sales. Since inception, the MSI has expanded to four other institutions of higher learning with an enhanced curriculum.
