OUR 2018 SEASON HAS BEGUN!

With retreats in New Zealand and Texas already completed, our 2018 Season is off to a great start! This is our 15th year of serving men with cancer, and we have 29 retreats planned in 19 states. We give a huge shout out of "THANKS!" to Mike Fidler, who for the past 10 years has served on the Reel Recovery Board of Directors, for many of those as our President. Mike's steady, creative and energetic leadership has helped build Reel Recovery from a boot-strapped start-up, to the thriving, dynamic organization we are today. Thankfully, Mike will continue to stay involved, chairing our annual fundraiser in Denver and continuing to offer his ideas and enthusiasm in support of our men. Be Well, Mike, and Fish On!

Ed Goble: Participant, Volunteer, Inspiration!

Ed Goble (with the big arm on the left) was a participant at our Utah Retreat in 2010, battling stage 4 kidney cancer and melanoma. Since then, Ed has been diagnosed with 3 more cancers, has had 12 major surgeries, but still manages to volunteer as a Fishing Buddy every year, to help other men cope with their cancer. The man is a rock and true inspiration, as this wonderful article captures poignantly. We salute "Big Ed", whose strength, courage and heart are as big as his arms.
