Below are your runner instructions.  Please be sure to review all the details for essential race day information!

Thank you for choosing the Credit Union SACTOWN Run and good luck on Sunday!

RUN FOR GOOD
California and Nevada Credit Unions and their business partners have already raised $240,000 in conjunction with the 2018 Credit Union SACTOWN Run.  This money raised goes directly to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals throughout California and Nevada.

Over the first seven additions of this event $1,500,000 has been raised for the Children's Miracle Network.

EVENTS
5K
The 5k race has a beginner-friendly one-hour course cut-off time (19:22/mile pace).  You can view the 5k map at the bottom of this page.

10-MILE
10-milers will do a two-lap course to complete the full 10-mile distance, so competitors in this Pacific Association Championship race will be taking in all the sights twice!   The 10-mile distance has a two-hour and thirty-minute cut-off time (15:00/mile pace). You can view the 10-mile map at the bottom of this page.

"HOMEMADE HALF" CHALLENGE
10-mile + 5k = One shirt, three medals, private staging area, and bragging rights!
Those runners who are crazy enough to  tackle both the 5k and the 10-mile run must be able to complete the 5k in a bit under 40 minutes in order to toe-the-line with the rest of the 10-mile runners.

*NOTE TO RUNNERS: Runners who fall behind pace in either the 5k or 10-mile will be asked to move to the sidewalk by law enforcement personnel or race staff, as the roads must be reopened at these times.  This is for the safety of our participants.

UC DAVIS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL MIRACLE MILE
The Miracle Mile is held in conjunction with the Credit Union SACTOWN Run. Proceeds will benefit UC Davis Children's Hospital. You can view the Miracle Mile map at the bottom of this page.

  • Save race morning time and stress!  We highly encourage all participants to pick up their race packet on Saturday, before race day.
  • We typically have the longest lines right when packet pick-up opens.  Save some waiting time by coming later in the day.
  • Packet pick-up closes exactly at 6:00 pm.  At that time all bibs and shirts leave the building so please do not arrive late.
Sunday, April 8: 6:30 am near the start line:
  • Photo ID is NOT required for packet pick-up
  • You ARE allowed to pick up other runners' race packets
  • If you are planning to pick up a friend's packet, please be aware that you will need to go to the line designated with the first letter of the friend's last name to do this
  • Double check your bib!
    • Be sure that your bib reflects the correct event.  If you are registered for the 5k, you should have a 5k bib.  If you are registered for the 10-mile run, you should have a 10-mile bib.  If you are registered for the "Homemade Half" Challenge, you should have a "Homemade Half" Challenge bib.
    • Make sure the information on your bib label is correct (name and birthdate).
  • If you pick up your bib on Sunday be sure to pick up your shirt BEFORE you run.  Once the 10-mile race starts we can no longer guarantee we will have your size regardless of when you registered.
  • Shirt sizes are not guaranteed for any registrations after April 2.  If your bib does not list a shirt size you will be able to pick up your shirt on Sunday, near the finish line, after the start of the 10-mile race.  You will need your bib to pick up your shirt.
