Our exciting Lakeshore Road Streetscape Project is underway
Today we held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of the Lakeshore Road Reconstruction and Streetscape Project as part of the town's investment to revitalize the downtown core.
"Downtown Oakville is the heart of our community and we are excited to get this project underway and move forward with a vibrant Lakeshore Road that shows the best of Oakville's history and livability," said Mayor Rob Burton.
Downtown Oakville is open for business throughout the construction period.
During reconstruction, the first hour of parking is free when your use the
HonkMobile App and promo code 'DOWNTOWN'.
