Front Street Closure beginning March 21
Just a heads up that Front Street, between Cherry Street and Zeller Street, is expected to close on Wednesday, March 21, so crews can rebuild the roadway, sidewalks and utilities. The closure is expected to last through construction season, into the fall. This may impact your trip to and from school so plan accordingly.
Spring Work Day - Saturday, March 24
Mark your calendars for a spring work day at the school on Saturday, March 24 from 8:30am - 12pm. We hope to have all hands on deck to help get the building and grounds in tip-top shape before our ACSI accreditation site visit team arrives in April. Be watching your email for a Sign-up Genius link to sign up for various projects around the school.
Summer Camp Opportunities at Heritage throughout June and July
Thinking about how to keep the kids from getting bored this summer? Check out the camps being offered at Heritage in June and July. Whether your child is interested in art, drama, board games, coding, or robotics, we have
something for you. We encourage you to register your child soon as space is limited for these camps. All registrations and payments for the art, drama, and board games camps (checks payable to Heritage Christian School) must be received by May 15th by contacting the office at 319-626-4777. To register for the Minecraft Mod Exploration and Creation, click here. To register for the Programming or Robotics Course, click here. Your child will need to provide their own lunch for each of these camps.   
Forms were sent home with students to fill out for permission to run off HCS grounds. Please fill those out and bring them to the first practice or to the office before then. The f irst track practice is Tuesday, March 20th from 3:30-5:00pm. Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday at those times. The Parent meeting is March 20th at 5:00pm. Please make sure to have all forms filled out, fees paid, and physicals turned into the office or Mrs. Keel. Go Eagles!
