Join us for our service on Sunday, September 16 for our Rally Sunday! Where we welcome everyone back from the summer. A celebratory Coffee Hour will be held - hopefully in our new Parish House!!

News from God's Giving Garden
Well over 1250 lbs of fresh food harvested!
This is a busy final weekend to rest up before normal activities get back into full swing, but if you find yourself in need of a few quiet hours enjoying a bit of sunshine and gardening, please join us during these work sessions:
Friday, 9/7, 9-10:30 am
We have harvested over 1250 lbs already, which we have donated weekly to the Food Bank of Somerset County, the Bernardsville Food Pantry at the Church of the Good Shepherd, and the veterans at Community Hope at the VA.
Please come help us feed our neighbors!

Many congratulations to St. Bernard's parishioners Paul Edwards and Michele Esposito who were married at St. Bernard's Church on Saturday, August 25.

September 16, 9 am
JOY! Service resumes
Families with young children (infants and up) are welcome to join us for our monthly JOY! service, on the 3rd Sunday of the month, resuming on September 16 at
9 am. This 25 minute service welcomes children into our liturgical tradition in informal, participatory, and fun ways. Please contact Pastor Beth with questions or to help.
And spread the word - all are welcome!

Summer Parish Office Hours
Due to the construction work and the quieter summer months our Parish Administrator is mainly working from home. She will be present in the office occasionally. Voicemail is being checked regularly. Please bear with us during the next couple of months while we await our upcoming move in to our new Parish House. Thank you.
Pastor Beth's Office Hours
Pastor's Beth is in the office each week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Monday is her day off. On Fridays she works from home.

Jim Hicks performs at benefit Concert for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Sept. 8, 5 pm
Acclaimed NJ organist Jim Hicks will be performing at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 119 Main St., Millburn, NJ at 5 pm. $20 suggested donation per person. ALL proceeds to the concert will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. For more info go to

AA Update:
Alcoholics Anonymous meets on Tuesday evenings at 8 pm and Saturday evenings at 6 pm in the church, while construction is going on.
