SUMMER MEALS OREGON 2018

Hello nutrition and hunger prevention partners!

Please join us this Friday, May 18 in raising awareness of the Summer Food Service Program across Oregon. The Summer Meals Promotion day aims to connect families early on to local programs in their communities, so they can plan for a fun and healthy summer!

We hope you'll help in the following ways:
  1. Follow the new Summer Meals Oregon   Facebook and Twitter pages
  2. Check out the Communications Guide in Google Drive for easy social media content and images
  3. Share the short newsletter article included within the guide - in 5 languages!
  4. Talk about SummerFoodOregon.org ; it will have a new look beginning May 15th, will be available in five languages, and will feature a Summer Meals Experience survey for families so we can better meet their needs (with drawings for $20 gift cards)
  5. Tag @Summer Meals Oregon and use #summermealsor when you visit local programs or to show off your own local program.
Thank you!
Partners for a Hunger-Free Oregon and Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs

P.S. Kids and families can find local summer meal programs by visiting www.SummerFoodOregon.org or calling or texting 2-1-1 and mentioning "summer meals." They can also text the word "food" (or "comida") to 877-877.
