Marriage Now
Marriage Now is a two-day onsite retreat for young couples designed to help you and your spouse intentionally focus on centering your marriage on Christ. Our conversations will reflect on Gary Chapman’s book,
The 4 Seasons of Marriage
. This year, we will be led through these discussions by some experienced couples from South Run Baptist Church in Springfield, Virginia, who will inspire you to fully embrace the season of marriage in which you find yourself. The retreat starts with dinner on Friday, February 15 at 5:30 pm and concludes at noon on Saturday, February 16. The cost is $30 per couple which includes dinner and breakfast. Childcare is available with

. Childcare is $5/child or $10/family. Please sign up for childcare by Monday, February 4.

Fervent Bible Study
Women's Bible Study of
War Room
is from 3:30-4:30 pm in room 234. The study will be led by Ashley Hendrix. Books are $10.00. For more information, contact Marie Ragsdale in the church office.

Student Sustainable Ministry Study
Due to the football game this Sunday, the Student Ministry Study has been moved to 12:15 pm in room 209. The regular scheduled time and place will resume next Sunday, February 10 at 5:00 pm in room 304.

Pinewood Derby
The Pinewood Derby is Sunday, February 10 from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm. Weigh-in is 3:30 pm-4:00 pm. There are races for all ages: Kindergarten & under, 1st-3rd grades, 4th & 5th grades, 6-8th grades, 9-12th grades, and adults. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. In addition, an award will be presented for best design in each age group. Derby cars will be on sale for $10.00 following worship on February 3 and on Wednesday nights at the first floor front desk. Cars can be worked on at home as well as designated times during WAM! on January 30 and February 6. Also, there is a Saturday work day on February 9. Senior Adult Spring Jubilee Conference
The senior adults will travel, April 29-May 1, to the Spring Jubilee Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC. The cost is $189.00 per person. Sign up at the hallway table or call Marie in the church office. Deposit of $75.00/per person is due by Sunday, February 10.

The Senior Adult Luncheon is Tuesday, February 12 at 11:45 am in Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share.

Baby Bottle Boomerang
Baby Bottle Boomerang, which supports the Carrollton Pregnancy Resource Center, has begun. Your contribution helps the Pregnancy Resource Center as they minister to the women and men facing unexpected pregnancies. Fill a baby bottle with checks, cash, or change. Return the bottle to the church by Sunday, February 10.

Community Needs
Open Hands, our community food and assistance center, needs pop-top meats, diapers (size 4), new children's and adult socks (#1 requested item). Alice's House, a local children's home, needs window curtains, decorative floor rugs, and bed pillows. Items can be dropped off in the hallway by the Fellowship Hall.

Pickleball
Pickleball is offered every Saturday from 10:00 am-12:00 pm in the TLC Gym. Men, women, and youth are invited to learn the game of Pickleball. It is similar to tennis, but less strenuous; and one can play doubles or singles. If you don't know how to play, come watch and we'll be glad to teach you.
