What's New at the Pond?
The Pond is expanding beyond ice hockey for the first time in our history.

We are super excited to welcome Lone Star Curling Club and McLaughlin Elite Skate Academy (MESA) to our facility.

These two programs will bring new energy to the rinks and we can't wait to work with LSCC and MESA to grow curling and figure skating in Central Texas.
Lone Star Curling Club

The Lone Star Curling Club was founded in 2006 in Austin, Texas. The club is committed to having a positive impact on the community by providing enjoyment and affordable curling for all ages, working to develop skills, building self-esteem, promoting sportsmanship, providing opportunity for competition, and establishing life-long friendships. 

The club curls Tuesday and Friday nights, and Sunday mornings, welcoming all skill levels, and hosts Learn-to-Curl events for new curlers regularly.

McLaughlin Elite Skating Academy (MESA)

The McLaughlin Elite Skating Academy (MESA) is a unique figure skating training program centered on the tenets of commitment, consistency and community.

Three-time National Champion and Head Coach Keauna McLaughlin has a passion for youth sports and inspiring confidence in skaters of all levels. Her professional coaching team is comprised of National and World level coaches with expertise in Freestyle, Pairs, and Ice Dance as well as speciality coaches in Jumps, Moves-In-The-Field and Group.

MESA accepts skaters of all levels from beginner to expert and child to adult, with the only requirement being a commitment to the sport and a drive to achieving one's potential.

Youth Hockey Learn to Skate
Saturdays (September 12th through October 31st)
  • Helmets and hockey skates required for this program.
  • Gear is NOT included in this program.
  • Helmets are mandatory (hockey helmets recommended but bicycle helmets are OK).
  • We have rental skates for any families without skates.
Youth Hockey Learn to Play Class
Saturdays (September 12th through October 31st)
  • Full gear is required for this program
  • Gear is NOT included in this program
Fall 5v5 Adult Hockey Leagues at the Barn

Friday Afternoons


We are going to get Friday afternoon adult shinnies back up and running.
