The Importance of Eye HealthEyeHealth

Eye health is important particularly as we age and vision begins to change.  Some changes are a normal part of the aging process such as needing glasses to read up close or having trouble adjusting glare.  As we age, the risk of developing age related eye diseases increases; therefore, learning about what those diseases are and some tips that can help improve eye health are important to understand.

Proper eye care is important to ensure age related ophthalmic conditions are not complicated by untreated common conditions. The Dispensary of Hope is working to source medication to treat common eye conditions related to allergy and infection.  The attached one pager can be used for our healthcare professional audience as a refresher on common age related eye diseases or used to help educate patients about age-related eye disease.

Do you have a need for a specific primary care ophthalmic medication? Enter your medication request here!

Hi, my name is Logan White.Himynameis

Born and bred in Nashville, TN, I am YOUR Senior Account Manager. I have spent the last three lucky years getting to know our network of access sites and helping to develop this great organization.

When I am not working full time, I am chasing my toddler Ollie (I swear he has octopus arms) who is nearly two years old. His current interests include reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, everything big trucks, AND repeating what mommy and daddy say. Uh oh...we are in trouble.

When I can convince someone to babysit, my husband and I are most likely going to a new music festival or attending local concerts...hello Music City! Our 3rd love is the Nashville Predators Hockey Team. Fun Fact: I was an Ice Girl for the Predators for five years and enjoyed the journey with my city. There might even be a gif floating around of me picking up an infamous catfish. ;)

I love people and I love helping those in need. Dispensary of Hope allowed me to marry my two passions and continues to motivate me everyday. YOU motivate me everyday. Thank you for being such an awesome network of caring people that want to make a change.
