A Magical Evening at Women of Promise
The 23rd  annual Women of Promise celebration  was held on April 12, 2018 at St. Charles Preparatory School. It was a wonderful evening filled with friends and fun as we honored Katie Cautela, the 2018 Woman of Promise. Katie shared with us her life's journey and the impact that New Directions had on her life reminding us why she is so deserving of the award and how our work impacts lives .

We were in a new space this year being in Walter Commons at St. Charles. It was a gorgeous venue accompanied by a beautiful, spring day. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, attendees, and volunteers along with the friendly competition our online bidding provided, we have raised over $275,000 !

We could not have succeeded without the efforts of sponsors, our Women of Promise Committee, our Board of Directors, our volunteers and staff. We want to give a special thank you to our Event Chair, Randi Leppla , and our Board President, Martha Hubbell . T hank you for your leadership and guidance during this process. As always we have to thank our Executive Director, Linda Warden, who works tirelessly to make sure this event is a success . Women of Promise always reminds us of the importance of the C enter and the lives that are being changed within our building every day.

We look forward to see ing you next year!
