A Note From the DCE
We are called to  confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father .  On television we have often seen a sports star or other famous figure called upon to share what they are thinking and feeling upon their great victory.  With the reporter's microphone in their face, and the world watching, some of these stars of the moment have acknowledged their thanks to God for making this possible, and given Him the glory.  We won't likely be famous, but we too have the opportunity to confess Christ in a way and at a time that matters.

Today our confirmation students make their confession in a formal way.  God placed them in the care of their parents since they was formed and born.  When He brought them to baptism - He fulfilled his promise to bring them into His eternal family.  Their parents, sponsors and larger family of God witnessed Christ's great victory in this soul.  There was no media attention, but we knew it was a great day.  God deserved all the glory ....continue reading
CONN ECT AT TIMOTHY
Update on Call Process
The Voters Assembly unanimously extended a divine call to Pastor Braun Campbell, Associate Pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Alexandria, VA, where he has served since 2006.  St. John's is approximately the same size as Timothy.
Before attending Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, he was a consultant with Anderson Consulting and started a small technology firm.  He graduated from Duke University in 1995. His wife Leslie and he have two children ages 2 and 4.
Pastor Campbell and Leslie will visit Timothy right after Easter, on April 3 and 4.

Thank You Frank!
Thanks to Frank Kohn for designing our Easter Outreach Postcards!

New Church Directory Coming Soon!!
Update Membership Information
Does our Church database have YOUR family membership record correct? Here is your chance to update YOUR record for our annual Guide Book & Directory (if you haven't already done so). It is time for us to update our database with any changes, additions, or deletions that may have occurred in YOUR family over the past year. Have you changed your phone number? Have you moved? Are you preparing to move soon? Are all of your children still at home and are they all included in your membership record? Do you want your record published? If you have not already informed the Church Office about changes to your record, please let us know now so that the information in the Guide Book & Directory is correct. The Church Office number is 314-781-8673.

Guide Book & Directory Advertising Opportunity
We are in the process of updating our annual Guide Book & Directory for the church. This book will contain everything pertinent to our church: the various ministries, organizations, committees, activities, functions and events plus a complete directory of all members. This book is being provided and direct-mailed to each family at no cost to our church, and it is again being subsidized by local businesses that advertise. If you own or manage a business and would like to find out about advertising in our book, please call the Church Office. Recent survey results by Guide Book Publishing show that 92.1% of families would rather patronize a Guide Book & Directory advertiser over a non-advertiser. It "will pay" to advertise in our new Guide Book & Directory.

SAVE the DATES - EARLY COMMUNION
5th/6th Grade Early Communion for Students and Parents
At Timothy we have been providing the opportunity for young people who have been instructed in the doctrine of the Lord's Supper to receive Holy Communion before confirmation.  This special instruction has been given to our 5th and 6th graders.  After this instruction has been given, we invite these children to receive the Sacrament with the consent of their parents and the approval of the pastors.
We are preparing to offer this instruction over 4 sessions for students and parent(s) Sundays during the education hour on: April 8, 15, 22 and 22nd.
Please let us know if you are interested in attending by contacting the church office.  You can contact DCE Mark, Pastor Rall or Pastor Bill if you have any questions.

We serve Sunday morning 8:15-10:30. If going to 7am service, duck out after Communion. Otherwise, be there at 7:45am.
