The following protocols will be in place for this event:

  • Groups of 10 students or less, social distanced (6 feet apart) at all times, including the drop off and pick up times.
  • Everyone will wear a mask when not playing or singing.
  • All sessions will take place outside. Students will only go indoors to use the bathroom and move to another part of campus.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the day, and encouraged at the beginning and end of each station.
  • Every student has a unique instrument and supplies at every station.
  • Tubas are the only instrument that we have in limited numbers. Students will only use their own individual tuba mouthpiece, separate from the actual tuba. They will also get to hold the tuba, and the tubas will be sanitized between every rotation.
  • Bathrooms are available, and we will have scheduled breaks. (Only one student will be in a bathroom at any given time)
  • Chairs will be wiped down between sessions.
  • Families will complete this symptom check the morning of the event to make sure any students with COVID-19 symptoms stay home.
