2020 is here, Wolverines. How did
that happen?
As someone who celebrated her 35th High School Reunion this past summer, trust me when I say: time is flying by. Over the coming 12 months I want to encourage you: don't wait to connect!
In April of last year, the Classes of 1981 - 1991, got together in a single group and celebrated Old School style. The energy and enthusiasm were absolutely contagious. Walking around the room it felt like nothing but joy... and a lot of sincere "we should do this again
soon."
Classes of 1994 and 1999 celebrated their 20th and 25th Reunions in the Fall of 2019 and by all accounts
everyone had a great time. And in December, I got to pop into the Class of 2009's group Reunion. They were excited to be together again!
We lost one of our own in December. By the ripple affect her passing had on our community, it's easy to see that she didn't wait. Natalie - Claire lived life to the fullest, reaching out to those in need, celebrating the success of friends and nurturing her relationships every day. We can keep in touch in lots of ways; social media has proven that. Still, nothing can replace the sound of laughter as you share a memory with an old friend. Nothing is the same as sitting side by side at the table and really looking at each other.
We hope to provide many ways for you to connect with each other and with Walker in 2020. Don't wait and stay tuned!
