News from God's Giving Garden
St John on the Mountain is officially "leading" the garden schedule next week. But all three churches are working together to keep up the magnificent production that we are seeing from the garden. We cannot thank enough the few people who have dedicated hours and hours of their summer to this project. Jan Williams and Cathy Ferrara have been incredibly dedicated leaders - but there are many others who have planted, picked, weeded and so on, all summer. Thank you all.
Our schedule for next week is as follows:
Monday, September 17th: 9.30 - 11.30 a.m.
Wednesday, September 19th: 4.00 - 6.00 p.m.
(and a social hour at a local hostelry for those who would like to join us!)
Friday, September 21st: 9.30 - 11:00 a.m.
I hope some of you can join us on one or more of these sessions. Or if you have an hour spare anytime, there is always something to do. (Weeding for example.)
See you at the garden!
Please come help us feed our neighbors!

We Rose for Climate Action!
Around the world last weekend, thousands of people of diverse faiths, including parishioners from St. Bernard's Church helped lead Rise for Climate, a globally-connected mobilization with more than 850 events in 95 countries. At actions and mobilizations in San Francisco, Jakarta, Lagos, Delhi, Sydney, Bogotá, Santiago, New York City, and beyond, people of faith brought an uncompromising message of moral urgency: bold action at the governmental, business and household level is the only way to meet the Paris Agreement's goals and avoid devastating harm.
