Join us  at Monmouth Park Races!
Sunday, August 26

Join us at Monmouth Park for an afternoon at the races.
We will leave after church for the afternoon at Monmouth.  There is food and drink available at the course.  We can carpool from church if folks are interested.  We will be meeting parishioners from St. Andrews in Lambertville and St. James in Eatontown who will be joining us at Monmouth.  We have use of a private box this time, which will be fun.  People should plan on getting home early evening.  Rain will cancel.

All are welcome!
News from God's Giving Garden
993.5 lbs of fresh food harvested so far!

The weather has been challenging for the garden. We have had to cancel many work sessions due to rain, and some of the plants are drowning. Even so, we have managed to harvest and distribute
993.5 lbs of fresh food to local people in need.

Cathy Ferrara delivered 1/2 of this to the Somerset County Food Bank and 1/2 to Community Hope at the Lyon's VA.  The gentlemen at the VA are so very grateful each time the produce is delivered, so heart warming.

St. Bernard's week starts this Saturday, 8/18.   Cathy Ferrara will be away until Monday, August 20 so Jan Williams from St. Marks will lead, she will return for the Wednesday session. Please watch for Jan's e-mail with the work session times.

Also - if you have extra vegetables from your own garden, you are welcome to bring them to any work session and we will deliver them with the garden produce to the food bank.

August 18-26;  September 10-16; October 1-7
