March 23rd, 2017

For our final week of Resurrect Me, we'll be focusing on the greatest stumbling block of all: pride. Pride oftentimes serves as the flashpoint for all of our other dysfunction and sin to rear their wicked heads. As we expose the ways pride seeks to separate us from an obedient, loving relationship with God, we'll examine what the Bible says about pride and how the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ redeems us. This Sunday, Rev. Drew Martin will be preaching in the Auditorium for our Contemporary Worship services; Rev. Faye Stephens will be preaching in the Sanctuary for our Traditional Worship services. See you soon!

Serving Opportunity

On Easter Sunday both of our campuses will be full of people and the parking lots will be full of cars. Golf cart drivers are needed to assist our seniors and others with physical disabilities from the parking lots to the front doors. Driving times are 8:30a - 9:15a and
10:15a - 11a.  If you are available for either shift, please contact Nate Gibson at [email protected] .

There will be no 8:00 services for this Sunday.

Panel Discussion

The issue of racism is seemingly everywhere right now for a lot of important reasons. Many of us aren't always equipped to talk about racism and have a lot of questions. To better be the ambassadors of Christ we're called to be, we must be cognizant of the issue and equipped to talk about racism in whatever facet of life we encounter it. Join us Wednesday, April 11th from 6:15-7:30 PM in the Chapel as we hear from folks from our own congregation on their experience with systemic racism and discuss ways we can overcome it together. If you have any questions, email: [email protected] .
