Meet & Greet with Cat Parler This Sunday!

Thank you for your patience with our decision to postpone our breakfast and "meet & greet" due to the snow last Sunday! We hope that you all (parents and youth!) will still plan to join us by stopping in to welcome Cat to our St. Paul's Community this Sunday, January 20th @ 9:00 a.m. in the Youth Room. Our youth events will continue to be in the afternoons for the most part, but this is an opportunity to get to know Cat and also allow people to attend the Vestry meet & greet at 11:30 a.m.

Please try to let Keli (kshipleycooper @stpaulsrva.org ) know if you can attend by Friday, January 17th. We hope to see you all then and we hope that you warmly welcome Cat to our church family!

Speaking of the Vestry meet & greet...

Youth, ages 16 and up, did you know you can VOTE in the Vestry elections?? Come meet the candidates on Sunday, January 20th @ 11:30 a.m. so that you can vote at the Annual Meeting on January 27th!

"Telling it Like it is": An Unapologetic Series
on Church, Clergy, and Congregation

As our Interim Rector, Sue Eaves, prepares to depart in February, she invites you to share in her perspective on life at St. Paul's and our relationship to God, to each other, and to the world.

Please join her for this three-session adventure during the Faith Formation hour each Sunday preceding worship, 9:00-9:50 a.m., on the following dates:  January 6, 20, and 27 (added in due to formation being canceled on January 13th). We look forward to seeing you there!

Before this Sunday's session, please consider the following questions for reflection:

1. What or who in the wider world touches your heart? Why?
2. How does your faith cause you to  respond or not respond?
3. Where is the hardest place to bring about  peace in your life?
4. Where do you see signs of  hope?
5. When do you suspect that life is a party?
