"The Eucharist is at the heart of 'Christian initiation', together with Baptism and Confirmation, and it constitutes the source of the Church's life itself. From this Sacrament of love, in fact, flows every authentic journey of faith, of communion, and of witness."
- The Sacr ament of L ove, Pope Francis
Dear School Families,
I ask you, our school community, to pray for our students who will be receiving their First Holy Communion on Saturday.  This is a wonderful faith filled moment for our children and their families. Their enthusiasm for receiving Holy Communion is a reminder to us of what we should experience every time we receive the Eucharist.
I also wish all the beautifu l mothers in our school and parish community a "Feliz Dia de Las Madres" ( Happy Mother's Day ).   I pray to our Blessed Mother asking her to grant all our mothers joy and peace as we honor them who gave us life and nurtured us.
Tomorrow we will have Faith Families.  Our lesson will be on the Catholic Social Teaching principle of solidarity.  All people are part of one human family. We are reminded of God's love for the world and that solidarity invites us to imitate His love for all people.
In partnership,
Mrs. Fely Fajardo
Principal

Classroom News

We are so proud and blessed to have such a wonderful 8th grade family!  They led the school in the May Crowning prayer service and it was amazing.  They are truly faith-filled students with a love and appreciation for their faith.

STAR TESTING
Over the next three weeks, our K-8th grade students will be taking STAR tests for the final time this year.  This testing is one measure of academic growth for the year and provides important information for the teachers.  We ask that your child come to school on time, rested, and nourished so that they are in a good position to demonstrate their academic achievement for the year.

Please see your homeroom teacher for specific testing dates and times.

Pray for Our Students
"Don't worry about anything: instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank him for all He has done.  Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Parents & Our Catholic Identity

Walking beside others who live and share their faith, in both the parish and the school, strengthens and affirms that our journey of faith is the most important endeavor of our lives. As the Romero Prayer states: " We are workers, not master builders, ministers, not messiahs. We are prophets of a future not our own ." We are continually striving to make God's kingdom fully realized in our home and in our community.

HOLY ROSARY SCHOOL INVITES YOU TO SHARE YOUR FAMILY STORY AND CELEBRATE YOUR CATHOLIC IDENTITY. CONTACT US AT: [email protected]
