Envision Shakopee Community Workshop
As the Envision Shakopee process continues to narrow in on the community's vision for Shakopee in 2040, the City of Shakopee invites the community to help them further refine how to bring that vision to life.
Join on Tuesday, Jan. 30 for the second Envision Shakopee Community Workshop. At this event, they will take a deeper look into the community-identified needs and issues they have heard throughout the planning process and discuss some of Shakopee's unique opportunities to address them.
The workshop will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Community Center, 1255 Fuller St. Free child care and refreshments will be available.
At the workshop, community members will have the opportunity to participate with several interactive stations designed to open conversation and inspire visionary thinking about the future of Shakopee. You will get the chance to provide your ideas and priorities for the future of our community. There will be map activities and discussion stations that focus on specific topics and places in Shakopee. A presentation starts at 6:45 p.m.
