Spring Night of the Arts

The Corvian Spring Night of the Arts was a huge success!  The packed audience enjoyed performances by the Band, Chorus, Dance and Drama Classes.  The fifth grade performed a reprise of a couple songs from this year's Operical while the band rocked the room and the chorus brought tears to our eyes.  The dancers were varied-from Chinese ribbon dancing to the waltz, and the actors performed Shakespeare and an original adaptation of Cinderella.  It was a great night for the stage.

Spring Sports Update

Our Cardinals had an amazing Spring Season!  Here are our highlights:
  • 6th Grade Volleyball advanced to the playoffs at Davidson Day.  They had a great season and learned many new skills to bring to tryouts in the Fall for our Middle School Team.
  • Our first year of Softball completed with a playoff game held at the Pfieffer University Softball stadium.  It was a great experience for our girls to play on a real college field. We are so proud of these ladies for giving it their all this year, and being part of our first team.
  • Our Golf Team finished the season as Conference Tournament Champions!  Britton Smith placed second overall. Congratulations team it has been so much fun watching all of you play.
  • Tennis finished the season undefeated.  In the Conference Tournament we placed first in the Doubles (AJ Patafio, Elizabeth Castoral) and we placed second in the Singles (AJ Patafio).  What an amazing season, Cardinal Tennis is taking the conference by storm!
  • Our Girls Soccer team finished the season as Conference Champions.  They played a hard fought battle against UA for the Conference Tournament and placed second after a round of overtime, penalty kicks, then one to one penalty kicks.  They are an amazing group of young ladies and we can't wait to see them play again next year.
  • Baseball will begin playoffs on May 7th.  They will hit the road to Gray Stone Day for the first round.  We have enjoyed watching this group of baseball players, and look forward to next season.

Super Sitter Class- June 6

We are hosting a Super Sitter class Wednesday, June 6 at the middle school campus. This is the week before Corvian summer camps start as to not interfere if your student has registered for the camp.

Novant trainers will lead the event. This six-hour babysitting class teaches students how to provide safe care for young children and explore important safe babysitter strategies. This will help your student better market him/herself while pursuing babysitting jobs.

Other topics include the role of the sitter, emergency/safety information, Family and Friends CPR, first aid, understanding children, safety for the sitter and the business of babysitting. Registration is open to rising 6th-9th graders. The class is from 9 AM- 3:00 PM. Students will need to bring a lunch. $55 covers the cost of the class and registration fee. Secure your student's spot by registering below.

Reserve your spot today by visiting our website and registering HERE. We only have 10 spots left!

Calling all rising K-9th students:

Corvian summer camps are open to the public and run by Corvian staff members. Your students can bring a neighbor, friend, or their cousin who is visiting that week from New York to camp. This is a great way to make new friends, stay busy over summer, and get to know our staff better. See registration options below.
