The University of Houston's Hobby School of Public Affairs will be hosting a panel discussion on
how local, state and national governments can coordinate to safely evacuate constituents, communicate breaking news and manage disasters on
Tuesday, October 17 at the TDECU Stadium from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Panelists will include:
- Chief Nim Kidd of the Texas Division of Emergency Management
- Francisco Sanchez of Judge Ed Emmett's office
- Thomas Lambert, President and CEO of METRO, Board Chair at Transtar
Admission to the event is free of charge and open to the public. A reception at 6:30 p.m. will follow the panel discussion. All are welcome to attend.
