Ghost Wall
Ghost Wall
by Sarah Moss

For as long as she can remember, Sylvie's father has had an all-consuming obsession with the customs and beliefs of ancient Britons from the Iron Age. So obsessed, in fact, that when he hears of an archaeology course that is taking a field trip into the woods to reenact the way of life from those simpler times, Sylvie's dad signs her family up to join them. They forage for roots, hunt rabbits for food, and even partake in dark, ancient rituals. This unsettling story by Moss delves into the world of abuse, freedom, and basic humanity that will cause a chill to go up your spine at every page.

The Lost Girls of Paris
The Lost Girls of Paris
by Pam Jenoff

Young British women comprise a ring of female secret agents who were deployed out of London during World War II. They are sent into France to gather intelligence and transmit information about German troop moments to London. Vividly rendered and inspired by true events,  Pam Jenoff shines a light on the incredible heroics of the brave women of the war, and weaves a mesmerizing tale of courage, sisterhood, and the great strength of women to survive in the hardest of circumstances.

A Curse So Dark and Lonely
by Brigid Kemmerer
A deliciously dark retelling of a tale as old as time. Step into the enchanted world of Emberfall, whose Prince Rhen has been cursed to live in eternal autumn, turning into a wicked creature each season. Meet Harper, our bold, bright, and badass heroine who stumbles (quite literally) into the thick of Emberfall's troubles and Prince Rhen's heart. Kemmerer spins a breathtaking story of honor, bravery and of course love showing readers that it is not your weaknesses and mistakes that define you, but what's in your heart. A Curse So Dark and Lonely will make you wish you were whisked away to Emberfall yourself for a spell.
