What was our BOD impression of the First
Virtual Diamond Congress
I attended the opening, closing, 2 working sessions and the NDC presentation...
though I didn’t take notes. Internally, we should review and submit our Arb/Med procedures and be prepared to modify if needed. To the greater membership,
1. we should encourage our members to use ‘Get Diamonds’ as often as possible, talk about it with others in the trade and look to provide feedback to help improve it.
2. Actively communicate the NDC marketing assets. This is a well done campaign that is share worthy.
-Vatche Shirkjian

I can not emphasize enough the importance of ‘Get Diamonds’.
It’s our duty to encourage this platform. The benefits are significant, especially long term.
To work on it, steadily and continuously.
Nothing is free, nothing is automatic. Great things are achieved with hard work, that’s the only way.
For me ‘Get Diamonds’ is an important part of WFDB, and the Congress reiterated that and emphasized that.
After two days of working sessions at the 2020 WFDB Congress, that’s the most important message I’ve heard:
Use ‘Get Diamonds’ platform, encourage Get Diamonds platform and be part of this platform.

Bond Actress Revealed as New Face of Diamonds
The Natural Diamond Council (NDC) has unveiled actress Ana de Armas as the star of its first celebrity campaign, which will debut at next week’s Emmy Awards.

The NDC approached the rising star as she “radiates with poise and modernity, and she epitomizes an ascendant, freethinking generation,” the organization said Wednesday.

Filmed in coastal Portugal in July, the advertisement shows de Armas in laid-back outdoor settings with Read More
