Mothers Trust Teens Coat Drive Sets Record....?

The Power of 8 Teens who want to make a real impact:
This year the MTF Teens teamed up with the Chapel of Libertyville's Mobile Food Pantry through a Partnership with Northern Illinois Food Bank. The Mobile Food Pantry handed out turkey dinners while the teens handed out warm coats & smiles. People were already lined up waiting when the teens arrived. Many of those in line pitched in and lent a hand to set up.
MTF Teens collected coats (many were NEW!), warm boots, gloves & scarves and hand-made hats lovingly made by The Hat Box Foundation

"It was heartwarming to experience the geniune appreciation." We are thankful for the generous donations from the community as well as many participating local businesses, Lake Forest Resale Shop and Forest & Found.
Someone You Should Know
A 12-year old student at St. Mary's in Lake Forest wanted to make a difference. She saved her money and asked her Mom to take her to the store so she could buy some items for young children who are in difficult situations. She brought the fruits of her labor to Mothers Trust, who had 2 families needing assistance, and we delivered them. Thank you Abby for your generous heart!
