Please make your check payable to Westminster Presbyterian Church and write "OGHS" in the memo line or give online at www.wpc.org (click on "Donate Now"). Let us share God's generous love.

As Wilmington seeks to address our crisis of gun violence, racial bias in the areas of educational and employment opportunity and the criminal justice system is a critical factor. We need to find new ways to discuss these issues and work together to find solutions. This conference offers a positive next step. Click here for more information on the conference, and visit the event website to register online.

News to Note
Our Story - Linda and Charlie Reinhardt
Every Sunday when we're home you'll find us in a pew at WPC, where we always receive inspiration and assurance of God's love and presence in our lives. We've often been invited to attend a highly recommended church closer to our home but can't seem to find a Sunday when we would consider missing the service and the Adult education class here! The sermons, always carefully crafted, confront issues on our minds or challenges facing us, our family, our community, country or the world. It amazes us that the prayers, scripture, music, and other service elements always support those themes, often in quite creative ways. We are very grateful for all the mission activities and wonderful music which are very important to us. For us, Westminster is 'the total package!' - Linda and Charlie Reinhardt
Opening for Nursery Caregiver
We have an immediate opening for Nursery Caregiver. This is a paid position. It requires providing childcare for children under two years old for 2.5 hours on Sunday mornings, as well as for services on Christmas Eve, Maundy Thursday, and any ecumenical holiday service held at WPC. Additional hours will be required periodically when POLO (Parent of Little Ones) have Sunday morning brunch and for the Annual Meeting in January. Experience with infant care and young children is required. Diaper changing is a job responsibility. Please contact Susan Moseley ([email protected]) if you are interested.
Is Your Green Thumb Itching?
