Phase 3 Provider Relief Fund

|
The application for Phase 3 Provider Relief Fund from the Department of Health and Human Services is due on November 6, 2020, with $20 billion in funding available to be claimed specifically aimed at supporting behavioral health organizations. CMS Announces 11 New Medicare Telehealth Services
|
|
Last week, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced an expansion of its telehealth services list for the duration of the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE). CMS added 11 new services to its telehealth list, allowing for more rehabilitation services and neurostimulator analysis. The telehealth list now includes 249 different codes, including 146 that have been added temporarily. CMS also released a data snapshot on telehealth use - according to CMS, Medicaid and CHIP beneficiaries received over 34.5 million telehealth services between March and June 2020, a 2,600% increase over last year.

As of October 26, 2020, the Wyoming Telehealth Network has enrolled 2,357 providers, primarily in the areas of primary care (429), mental health (842), pediatrics, emergency medicine, and allied health - physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology (422) making a total of 1,693 - or 71.8% - of the 2,357 providers.

COVID-19 Patient Experience Study
The Equality State Research Network (ESRN), as part of the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities at the University of Wyoming, is seeking participants for a 15-20 minute survey. The purpose of the survey is to gain information about patient experiences (or not) with healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ESRN is seeking to understand all experiences including your own and potentially the experiences of those that you may care for (e.g., a family member with a disability). Barriers and Facilitators to the use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring
The University of Wyoming is working with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Department of Family Medicine on a project about how to improve care for patients with diabetes. The purpose of this study is to learn about barriers and facilitators to the use of continuous glucose monitoring (or “CGM”) for primary care patients with diabetes.
Please help us by completing this survey through the link below. This survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. The first 68 survey respondents will receive a $50 gift card for participation.

Wyoming Telehealth Consortium

The Wyoming Telehealth Consortium is the central meeting space to discuss the programs, success/challenges, and discuss ideas on improving the use of telehealth in the state. The Consortium meets on the last Tuesday of every month, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Anyone interested in building telehealth is encouraged to attend.
