Rocket Report
Vol. 2, No. 22, January 25, 2019
Words with Wilson
Last Friday we held our annual Spelling Bee. The winner of this Bee represents St. Roch Catholic School at the area, regional and national competitions, if they continue to qualify. We had forty-two participants representing grades four through eight. It was a very competitive competition, and in the end, we crowned co-champs. 8th grade student Caitlin Pooler successfully defended her title from last year, and 7th grade student Mikey Riedeman also claimed a first place finish. The competition was so fierce that we ran out of words!

Unfortunately, only one student is allowed to advance in the competition. We held a closed competition between Mikey and Caitlin, with Caitlin taking the victory. We are excited to have Caitlin representing St. Roch Catholic School moving forward, and want to congratulate Mikey on such a great run. All of our competitors worked hard, and we are very proud of them.
