Price of admission includes pizza, water, and one unlimited play bingo card. Snacks and dessert will be available for additional purchase. All proceeds go to the PTA

100TH DAY OF SCHOOL IS FEB 1  
 
FEBRUARY 1, 2019

The 100th Day of School is coming soon! It is currently scheduled for Friday, Feb. 1, barring school cancellations. ALL students are invited to create a project for our 100th Day Middle Gate Museum. The project can be as simple or involved as you like. The most important part is to count out 100 objects and use your imagination!  
 
Please adhere to our NO FOOD rule and do not include any food, including cereal and candy, in projects.  
 
Projects may be brought in anytime starting Wednesday, Jan. 30th. We can't wait to see what you create! 
PARENT PAINT NIGHT THURS FEB 7 
Middle Gate Paint Night!

Please join us at Charmios Paint & Party Store in Newtown for a Middle Gate Adult Paint & Sip Night! Come enjoy a fun and relaxing night with friends, both old & new! 

Price is $40 per person. Please RSVP by clicking the link below and then send in cash or a check made out to MG PTA to school in an envelope marked "MG Paint Night". 
Snacks will be provided but BYOB. This event is limited to 38 people.

BOX TOPS DUE FRI FEB 8 
Keep clipping and saving those box tops! 
In October, our school earned over $700! Let's beat that in February! 
Box Tops are due by February 8th.
 
They can be sent in on the collection sheet that is being distributed, or in a baggie.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT PLANNING MEETING 
Calling all volunteers!
It's time to plan our biggest fundraiser of the year. No one can deny that last year was a ton of fun and a huge success, raising over $12,000!
The PTA will be hosting a similar event at Rock Ridge again this year. We have set a date for Friday, April 5th. Mark your calendars!
If you're interested in helping with the following items, please reach out ASAP.

Our first meeting will next week (week of Jan 28) so if you are interested, email one of us.

PTA MONEY AT WORK!  
We are happy to report that with all the money we raised during our fall book fair, we were able to give our Literacy Center , brand new books for our kids to read!!! These hardcover books have beautiful pictures and are vibrant in color. They are gorgeous! I was able to snap a quick pic of the very happy, very grateful reading team, loving on all their new books!

Thank you to everyone who came to the bookfair and who continue to support our efforts to make our school a better place for our kids ..and staff too

Do you want to advertise a MG event or program or are you looking for volunteers for a MG event or program? Then send us your information for submission in the Middle Gate Minute. The Middle Gate Minute is a Bi-Weekly publication. Please include a 1-3 sentence description and contact information for all submissions. If you want to attach a flyer or other document, it is best to send as .doc or .pdf

MG Weekly editor reserves the right to edit all submissions. All submissions due the Thursday before the next newsletter publication date.
