TRPR
Officially we're called the
Thompson Rivers Parks & Recreation District. But we'd rather you thought of us as your local Fun and Play District. Because when you get down to it, we're the folks who bring your community health and fitness programs, recreational sports, senior citizen activities and special events to life.

We are a Special District, funded primarily by local property taxes to provide and maintain parks and recreational facilities for the enjoyment of all its district citizens. We are not a city department. The parks and recreation district is overseen by an elected board of directors and their appointed staff who are responsible for the programming and maintenance of its acreage and facilities.
The
Milliken Athletic Complex (the home of TRPR) is a game changer for the communities of Milliken and Johnstown.
The
MAC is home to youth and adult athletics, special events, community organizations (such as the Boys and Girls Club and Boy Scouts) and active community programming such as yoga, Zumba, dance and cheer. With the population of our communities rapidly expanding, TRPR is busting at the seams. This facility couldn't have come at a more critical time.

Spark Award
for Entrepreneurship.
For two decades, The Better Business Bureau serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming has honored local businesses with its Torch Awards for Ethics.
For the first time this year, the BBB gave three local companies Spark Awards, which recognize ethical companies that have been in business for only six months to three years. The Spark and Torch awards were presented in an event April 19 at the Embassy Suites Loveland.
In addition to All About Insurance, the Spark Awards went to everHuman of Fort Collins and American Electrical Innovations of Wellington.
