STAY CONNECTED
Like us on Facebook

Wow! 1,018 of you came to shop last week (in store) while we celebrated all you do for the children of our region with the Crayons version of Teacher Appreciation Week! Another 127 teachers shopped through the Mobile Outreach Program. All told, nearly $760,000 of product left Crayons to Computers last week to help students in our region through all of you. Thank you for your amazing passion and commitment!

Congratulations to:
  • Stacey Burnam from Roselawn Condon - winner of a pizza party for her classroom and
  • Darith Chen at Middletown High School - winner of 4 passes to Kings Island.
I also want to thank you for your input on our teacher survey in February. More than 1,330 teachers responded, giving the Crayons team LOTS of great feedback to digest as we work to improve your experience in the next school year.

As the daughter of teacher-parents, I know that as the school year winds down, it's not just the kids who get antsy and start looking forward to summer break - teachers do, too! I hope that this school year has been stimulating, that your students have made great strides and that you have "left it all on the field" as you have provided the kind of educational experiences that your students will remember. My hope for you is that your summer provides respite and a chance to re-energize - so that, come August, you are inspired and ready to go.

And the Winners are ...

THANK YOU to all the teachers who donated during the month of April, in support of our Teacher Free Store and Mobile Outreach Program.

The winners of the 3-2-1 Matching Grant Contest 2-minute shopping extravaganza are Janet Albright-Willis, Michelle Baggett and Nancy Holt. View the full list of winners HERE and follow us on Facebook to watch the LIVE event at the end of July.

Though the contest is over, and the winners have been drawn, we still need your help. If you value having access to free supplies from Crayons, please consider a donation of any amount. Even $5 goes a long way towards helping us provide students in need with the tools to succeed in school.

We will keep the link on our website for the remainder of the school year. Any contributions online or in-store are greatly appreciated. Thank you for all that YOU do for the kids in our community. Help us continue providing you with the tools on which you and your students depend by donating today.

Books, Bags and More for HCMSA

Elsa Garcia, a 4th Grade Teacher from  The Hamilton County Math & Science Academy, recently received 80 copies of "Serpent's Shadow" from Crayons, enough for every 4th Grade student. This book was part of a donation of new books from Scholastic Corporation.

The school's Spanish Club also received Clever Crazes and Yoobi backpacks filled with notebooks, crayons, pencils, pencil bags, markers and more. Elsa said, "Their emotion, smiles and excitement were a true blessing."
